You may have heard that Ousmane Dembele got injured this weekend.
Barca’s big signing picked up a thigh injury against Getafe, has gone to Finland for surgery and will miss 4-5 months of action.
Some Dortmund fans cheered his injury and called it “karma”, but it could actually have some negative effects for BVB.
According to AS, Barca will now save money because Dembele won’t play 50 games this season. If he had played in 50 matches, Dortmund would’ve received an extra €10 million in the deal.
Peter Bosz’s side certainly aren’t missing Ousmane yet, and Barcelona aren’t either. Ridiculed-signing Paulinho actually came through in the clutch and scored the winner for FCB later in that game.
