Borussia Dortmund have made their “Deadline Day” signing and it’s a promising one. Jadon Sancho will join the black and yellows from Manchester City, as per usual the fee was not made official but according to kicker is around 7€ million.
The 17-year-old winger was a City youth player and refused to sign a pro contract with the “Sky Blues”, this made him available for other clubs. In addition reports about a Dembélé-like strike are apparently overstated, the kicker-report mentioned above claims that Sancho resigned his youth-contract with Sancho weeks ago and was therefore not a City-player anymore. He did miss training but he had every right to do so.
Sancho is a talented young winger that can play on both sides of the pitch. While he hasn’t played at the professional level just yet, he has already shown his talent when he won the “Best Player” award at this years U17 European championships where he participated for England.
Dortmund has added another incredible talent to their roster that will surely add depth and give coach Peter Bosz some more options on offense.
Welcome Jadon Sancho!
