- Emre Mor linked with Fenerbahce Istanbul
Rumors suggest that Emre Mor has parted ways with his agent Muzzi Özcan, although at this point it is not yet confirmed by either Özcan nor Mor. The Turkish international was close to a transfer to Inter Milan before the deal fell through. Reports out of Italy suggested the deal was cancelled because of the high fees for Özcan.
Now that his agent is gone, new rumors started surfacing. While the player himself still wants to move to Inter Milan, Fenerbahce Istanbul have supposedly also contacted him. Currently we have no definitive source that a deal is close but it is pretty obvious that Mor wants to leave and Dortmund aren’t necessarily trying to keep him. We’ll have to see how this develops but it seems possible that Mor will still leave Dortmund this summer.
- Problems with Erik Durm
It’s no secret that Erik Durm has had an injury-riddled career so far. Since he joined BVB’s first team he has spent more time at the doctor’s office than on an actual football pitch.
Just a few days ago it looked like VfB Stuttgart were willing to give Durm another chance. However Stuttgart has now backed of from a transfer because of complications during the medical. They are still interested in him but they would rather get him on loan for a year and wait out his development, instead of spending millions on a player that could potentially break down at any minute.
This development could benefit FC Augsburg who are also said to be interested in Durm. They could potentially swoop in and secure the World Cup winner for themselves.
