THAT GAME WAS FUN!

BVB won 3-0 at Wolfsburg to start the season on Saturday. It was a masterclass game that gives Bosz an important first league win. The goal scorers were Pulisic, Bartra and Aubameyang.

The first half was all BVB as we dominated possession and chances. While Wolfsburg was able to get some shots off Burki was rarely forced to work hard. Zagdou started at left back and actually played great the first half, saving the best chance Wolfsburg had. The first goal was from American star Christian Pulisic who has shown no sign of stopping since his first game for BVB in 2016. He was able to cut into Wolfsburgs box with ease and let off a perfect shot into the net. Things didn’t slow down for BVB up 1-0 as we grabbed chance after chance. Bartra scored soon after Christian when he went to cross the ball to Aubameyang but need up scoring instead. It was the best accidental goal you will ever see. Bartra is a fan favorite and it was great to see him dedicate his goal to the victims of the Barcelona terrorist attack. The half ended out 2-0 after BVB dominated more and more.

While we only scored once in the second half the domination was even more absolute. Wolfsburg really had no chance in the second half. We dominated with over 60% possession and had our fair share of shots. The Aubameyang goal came from an Pulisic assist and locked the game down for BVB. Auba was again looking for goals time and time again. he may have some attitude problems, they did not show on the pitch. Wolfsburg did have a goal but it was called off by VAR. It seemed VAR really worked for this game as every call was correct that went to the video referees.

A 3-0 victory and dominant performance was a great way to start off the season. We destroyed for big team Wolfsburg and our team looked cohesive under the new manager,. What were your thoughts on the match?
