- Mor transfer cancelled
A few days ago when Dortmund took a picture of the entire team for the upcoming season, Emre Mor wasn’t on it. The winger was absent although with a valid excuse, he was supposed to finalize his deal with Inter Milan. It seemed like a matter of days, maybe even hours before we would have the official confirmation of the transfer, after all the details of the transfer were already agreed upon between both clubs.
Now there’s a new development and it’s a peculiar one. Talking to Ruhr Nachrichten, Zorc admitted that a transfer was cancelled even though both clubs had already hashed out the details of the transfer. Various reports in Italy suggest that the deal fell through because of Mor’s agent and his high demands for his commission.
As of right now Emre Mor is a player of Borussia Dortmund and he’s back in team training. We’ll have to wait and see what happens with the Turkish international.
- Rode linked to Stuttgart
Sebastian Rode has not broken into the first team in Dortmund so far. A combination of him being constantly injured and, quite frankly, others being a lot better than him have made him a rotation player at best. Because of his limited time on the pitch for the black and yellows he’s been linked to a few teams this summer but to date none of those rumors have proven to be true.
Currently the Stuttgarter Nachrichten report that VfB Stuttgart would be interested to bring him in to stabilize their midfield. Dortmund would probably be willing to let Rode go to open up a roster spot but a transfer seems unlikely because of Rode’s unwillingness to leave Dortmund.
- CL results
Hoffenheim 1-2 Liverpool
Sporting 0-0 FCSB Bukarest
YB Bern 0-1 CSKA Moscow
APOEL 2-0 Slavia Praha
Hoffenheim fought valiantly in their first ever game in a European competition but in the end Liverpool was a bit luckier. Nagelsmann’s team would have deserved a draw but Liverpool came away with the win and a great result for the return leg in a week.
Daily Buzz: Should we actually keep Mor now?
