While the Ousmane Dembélé-situation is still very much unclear, Borussia Dortmund are apparently covering their bases for a possible departure of the young winger.

Several names have already made the rounds as Dembélé’s heirs on the BVB squad like Gelson Martins from Sporting Lisbon or Maxwel Cornet from Olympique Lyon. New rumors suggest that Quincy Promes from Spartak Moscow and Luan from Gremio Porto Alegre are two other names that are on Michael Zorc’s radar.

Both of them are players from the same mold as Dembélé, quick, technically gifted and always looking for 1-on-1 situations.
