  • Emre Mor

According to kicker’s print edition the transfer of Emre Mor to Inter Milan is imminent. The talented young winger will be loaned to Inter for 2 years for a fee of 4€ million before an obligation to buy kicks in that brings Dortmund an additional 10€ million.

This seems to be highly likely and could be announced as soon as today. During yesterday’s Bundesliga media day Mor was not with the team when they took the picture of the entire team for the upcoming season. BVB later stated that he “was excused for the picture for negotiations about his future”, in other words a deal is close.

At the same time kicker reports that Dortmund are in fact eyeing Jadon Sancho as a possible replacement for Mor. The 17-year-old winger is seen as one of Europe’s biggest talents and could be available because he’s refusing to sign a pro-contract with his current club Manchester City. Sancho was already in Dortmund to visit BVB’s training grounds.

  • Ousmane Dembélé

On Monday a transfer of our young winger seemed imminent but things have calmed down a bit since then. Barcelona is still interested to bring him in and Ous appears to be willing to leave but Dortmund are not budging from their 150€ million evaluation.

While some outlets reported an asking price of 120€ million a couple days ago it seems that BVB’s threshold is indeed a bit higher. BILD and kicker both claim that Dortmund asked for 150€ million during negotiations with Barca. The reasons for the high valuationa re the fact that it is extremely late in the transfer window and Dortmund would have to overpay themselves for any possible replacement. In addition Stade Rennes would receive a large chunk of said transfer fee. When Rennes let Dembélé go to Dortmund they agreed a future participation for the French club in the deal in case Dembélé would transfer again. BILD report this participation could be as high as 25% of the transfer fee, in reality it is probably somewhere around 15-20%.

A transfer, while still possible seems a bit unlikely at the moment unless Barca panic and pay 150€ million for a 20-year-old.

In that case Dortmund will have to replace one of their most important players and are already looking for possible replacements. As of right now there are two names making the rounds. Inaki Williams (23) from Athletic Bilbao who has a reported release clause of 50€ million in his contract or Maxwel Cornet (20) from Olympique Lyon.

  • Mislintat is staying

During the Bundesliga media days, Michael Zorc was asked about the rumors regarding Bayern Munich’s interest in Sven Mislintat. The Bavarians need a new head of scouting after losing Miachael Reschke and reports suggested they were interested in Mislintat.

Zorc denied those immediately, saying that Mislintat “will definitely stay” and that he “did never express his wish to leave”. Mislintat signed a new contract earlier this year that ties him to the club until 2021.

Daily Buzz: According to tuttomercatoweb BVB are interested in bringing in Jeremy Toljan. The 1899 Hoffenheim-player can play both full back positions which would definitely help seeing BVB’s struggles at both positions right now. Would he be a good addition?
