  • Auba will stay!

Borussia Dortmund confirmed yesterday that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will stay in Dortmund this summer.

Talking to SportBild Michael Zorc said “We have decided that the window for a transfer for Auba is closed. Decisive was the element of time. We wanted and will now plan with him. We have communicated this to his family and agents.”

He continued saying that there is a small chance that a transfer could happen but only if something crazy would happen. In other words if any club would offer more than 100€ million for him BVB would rethink their decision but that seems very unlikely.

Dortmund was willing to let Auba go when there were some intriguing options on the market to replace him but once most of those were gone, like Lacazette for example, there was just no value in selling him for a record fee without having an option to replace him. It’s the best possible decision and now it looks like this will be the first summer in a some time where BVB don’t lose any significant players.

  • BVB is back from Asia

The team is back from their Asia-tour and will resume training in Dortmund. In the coming days some of the players that had additional time off will join the team like Mahmoud Dahoud and Maximilian Philipp before they travel to Bad Ragaz, Switzerland for their second training camp from July 26th to August 2nd.

The next friendly will be on Saturday in Bochum against 2.Bundesliga side VfL Bochum.

Daily Buzz: So if Auba stays and our transfer activities are done for now, would you be satisfied with our transfer business this summer?
