Unlike many strikers around European soccer’s ranks, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not be making the move to the bright lights and big bucks of China’s Super League.

Kicker is reporting that Aubameyang is no longer on the list of Tianjin Quanjian as the Chinese transfer window slams shut today.

Three clubs remain keen on securing a world-class striker during this summer’s transfer window and are looking to add Aubameyang. Chelsea FC, Paris-Saint Germain, and AC Milan are all on the short list of suitors for the Gabon international.

AC Milan reportedly bid €80M on Torino striker Andrea Belotti while Chelsea are pursuing Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid. PSG seem the biggest threat as the French club looks to fill the void up front left open since Zlatan Ibrahimovic departed last summer.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc “remains hopeful” that Aubameyang will stay put. BVB’s preseason tour of Asia continues with a match against Urawa Reds on Saturday.
