  • Welcome Dan-Axel Zagadou

As we already reported last week Borussia Dortmund have signed Dan-Axel Zagadou on a free transfer. Zagadou, an extremely talented center back, has signed a 5 year deal with the black and yellows who beat out namely competition with the likes of RB Leipzig, VfL Wolfsburg, Manchester City and Arsenal London also reportedly interested. Zagadou is a tall CB (6'3''/1.95cm) who excels with his tackling and is good with headers. In addition he's garnering comparisons to Mats Hummels because of his passing skills.

Michael Zorc confirmed in a statement that the 18-year-old will be a part of the first team when he arrives in July which indicates that a couple of CBs will probably leave BVB this summer. Sokratis, Bartra, Bender and the newly acquired Toprak will be safe but Matthias Ginter and Neven Subotic will probably have to look for another club this summer.

  • Bosz the new BVB-coach?

It looks like Borussia Dortmund have finally found their new coach. Several outlets report that Peter Bosz has agreed to a deal with Dortmund to be the new head coach. Dortmund will have to pay a fee to Ajax Amsterdam because Bosz still has a contract until 2019 with the club, nevertheless it looks like Ajax will let Bosz go.

Bosz prefers an attacking 4-3-3 system with high pressing and a lot of ball movement. He's a disciple of the Johann Cruyff-school of coaching which has spawned numerous coaches in recent years. His style shouldn't deviate to much from what we grew accustomed to under Thomas Tuchel and Bosz has shown that he can develop young players with Ajax.

  • Thomas Tuchel won't coach Leverkusen next season

Tuchel's agent Olaf Meinking has confirmed to German outlet Frankfurter Allgemeinen Sonntagszeitung that the coach won't join Leverkusen this summer. Bayer are also looking for a new coach after letting Tayfun Korkut go at the end of a horrendous season for the Werkself. Meinking stated there is a chance Tuchel will not join a club immediately or joining a club in a different league.
