- Bundesliga schedule 2017/18
The DFL released the Bundesliga schedule for the upcoming season and the first matchday is already lit.
The Bundesliga will start on Friday August 18th when Bayern host Leverkusen, a great game to start of the new season. Borussia Dortmund will have to start the season with an away game in Wolfsburg. Other standout games are Schalke hosting Leipzig and Gladbach vs Köln.
Peter Bosz will play his first Bundesliga home game on matchday 2 against Hertha BSC Berlin.
Some notable games for BVB:
Matchday 8: BVB - RB Leipzig
Matchday 11: BVB - FC Bayern München
Matchday 13: BVB - Schalke 04
Matchday 14: Leverkusen - BVB
Matchday 17: BVB - TSG Hoffenheim
It's interesting to see that Dortmund will play most of their games against top-teams at home in the first half of the season. Maybe it will help them get a quick start in the Bundesliga which will keep them in the title race. On the other hand this means that Dortmund will have a very tough Rückrunde.

- Augustin waiting for Dortmund?
PSG's Jean-Kevin Augustin has reportedly turned down a move to Rennes & is waiting for a sign from Borussia Dortmund. #SRFC #BVB https://t.co/iQT8nsCtBu

Jean-Kévin Augustin has been linked to BVB for a few months now and apparently he would like to join the black and yellows. The talented 20-year-old striker was always rumored to be part of a possible Aubameyang-deal but since the Auba-to-PSG isn't happening anymore it was believed that Augustin would not come to Dortmund.
This deal seems unlikely right now because it looks like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will actually stay in Dortmund for now. If the Gabon international does not leave then there is no room for Augustin with the newly acquired Philipp backing Auba up in addition to Isak and Schürrle who are also still on the roster.
