Paris was the scene of today’s friendly between England and France. The game was a back-and-forth affair, but it ended on a high note for the French, and for one of Dortmund’s star players.
Ousmane Dembele scored the winner in the 78th minute. It was his first ever international goal at the senior level for France.
Check out the finish:
We’re used to seeing Dembele score after skillful runs forward, but this time he was set up nicely by Kylian Mbappe. Ous did the rest.
But that’s not to say Dembele didn’t show off his dribbling skills during the match. He embarrassed quite a few England defenders with some fancy moves.
Add Dembele to the long list of players to expose John Stones. pic.twitter.com/3ynX88oCYY

RIP John Stones. It’s a shame that Dembele eviscerated him like that in front of so many people. But he certainly won’t be the last to fall victim to Ousmane’s skill.
Dembele’s performance should only put him further up on Didier Deschamp’s depth chart. There is a lot of competition on French wings, but he’s certainly better than Moussa Sissoko.
