  • BVB U19 win the West-German Championship

Dortmund's U19 defeated MSV Duisburg U19 1-0 on Saturday while Schalke surprisingly drew Wuppertaler SV at the same time which meant that Dortmund was able to surpass the rivals on the last matchday to win the West-German championship. BVB's youngsters have won the competition for the second time in a row and are poised to go one step further. On Tuesday they will take on Wolfsburg in the semifinal for the German championship, a title they want to defend after winning it last year. Bayern Munich take on Schalke 04 in the other semifinal.

  • Marc Bartra working on his comeback

Bartra is back in training and working hard on his comeback, hopefully the Spaniard will be able to get back on the pitch this season, at least for a few minutes.

  • Tuchel vs The team?

A lot has been said in recent days about Thomas Tuchel and his (broken?) relationship with the front office, now several reports are surfacing that claim that the team isn't much of a fan of him either. The Süddeutsche Zeitung, schwartzgelb.de and Ruhr Nachrichten all published articles references to anonymous players that are apparently not happy with Tuchel, his tactics and his treatment of them on a personal level.

I can't say anything to the accuracy of those reports, but if they are true it would just further reinforce the need for a split in the summer that looks very likely at this point.
