- Dortmund ask about Enes Ünal
I'm not saying we called this one first but our own Dan Shulman definitely called this one first.
According to De Telegraaf Borussia Dortmund is one of 20(!) clubs that asked about Ünal after he was denied a work permit in the UK and therefore can't play for Manchester City next season. The 19-year-old is currently loaned to Twente Enschede where he is having an exceptional season for a teenager with 17 goals in 30 games.
Manchester City has quite the dilemma at their hands, either sell the striker now or loan him out one more year and hope that he gets the permit next year.
- Andrea Conti - new right back?
It appears that BVB have enough depth at right back with Lukasz Piszczek, Erik Durm and Felix Passlack but Zorc is seemingly looking for an upgrade anyway. Gianlucadimarzio.com reports that both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have asked about Conti's availability and possible fee.
Atalanta Bergamo is playing a fantastic season in the Serie A, sitting at fifth in the table ahead of sides like AC Milan and Inter and Conti has been a valuable part of the team playing in 30 games (7 goals, 4 assists).
At first this would seem like an odd move for Dortmund but another RB might not be a bad idea, Piszczek has definitely lost a step (or two), Durm can't stay healthy and Passlack is not quite ready to take over. Conti might be the player the black and yellows need.
