- Reus out for 6-8 weeks
Marco Reus has suffered a partial tear of cruciate ligament in the DFB Cup final. It is yet another setback he Dortmunder Jung who has just won his first major title. Luckily the injury isn't as bad as everybody thought when we first heard of some sort of damage to the ACL but it is still bad. Reus will likely miss out the preparation and the first couple months of the next season.
The question Dortmund is facing now is should they buy another winger or is the combination of Dembélé, Pulisic, Schürrle, Mor and Bruun Larsen enough. There are also rumors about a possible departure of Schürrle and Mor (on loan) which would force Zorc & Co. to react this summer.

- Der Klassiker to start the season
We should be used to this by now. Der Klassiker will mark the official start of the 2017/2018 season when both teams will face off in Dortmund for the DFL Supercup on 5th August 2017. It will be the fifth Klassiker in six years in the DFL Supercup.
