This weekend may be all joy and partying for BVB but we do have one piece of bad news coming our way. During the final Marco Reus had to be taken out at the half due to injury. Post game he said he hurt himself during Ousmane Dembele’s opening goal which means he played for around 35 minutes hurt. This morning he went to the hospital to get diagnosed and the news is not good. BILD reports he has a partially torn ACL. An injury like this could keep him out for the whole summer leaving him unprepared for the open of next season. Reus has had a career marred by injury and this last blow must be devastating to the native Dortmund star. He won his first trophy of his career but still got hurt in the process..

Fortunately he was able to leave the hospital and make the parade float with the rest of the players. its good to see him celebrate a well deserved title. Even thought he could not play much this season he still played at the top of his game when he was on the field.

Get well soon Marco!
