When the DFB Pokal kicked off in Berlin, you could barely see the action. The pitch at the Olympiastadion was almost completely shrouded in yellow smoke.
Thankfully, the smoke subsided just in time for the first highlight of the Cup Final.
Ousmane Dembele opened the scoring in the 8th minute with a classic Dembele goal. And by classic, I mean a display of brilliant pace and/or dribbling technique.
You have to feel for Frankfurt defender Jesus Villejo, #5 in this clip. Ousmane completely fooled him with the fake shot. Dembele literally leaves him in the dust as he slides by.
But even then, Ous still had to finish from a tight angle. He did just that, by blasting the ball into the roof of the net.
This kid just turned 20 two weeks ago. Plays like these are why so many people are tipping Ousmane Dembele to become one of the great players in world football.
