Yesterday, we praised Dortmund fans for showing up in massive numbers to the U19 title match between BVB and Bayern Munich. 33,450 people watched in the Westfalenstadion as Dortmund won on penalties. It was a record attendance in Germany for a U19 game.

One of those 33,450 in attendance was a Dortmund fan who, at one point, found himself near Bayern President Uli Hoeneß. He saw his chance and he did not hesitate to take it. Today, we salute him.

This brave and heroic man had two beers in his hands, but still managed to free one up to deliver this important message to Hoeneß. We don’t know his name, but he’s set an example that all Dortmund fans should strive to follow.

And he’s given us a pretty amazing snapshot.

I like to think that his drunken hand gesture wasn’t just for Hoeneß, but for Bayern as a whole. Every Dortmund fan is sick of their dominance. Sometimes you just have to do what Emperor Palpatine once said and “Use your aggressive feelings...Let the hate flow through you.”
