There’s a reason why Dortmund fans are considered to be some of the best in the world.
Today, over 33,000 of them packed into the Westfalenstadion to watch the Dortmund U19s take on Bayern Munich’s U19s for the title.
33,450 visitors! That’s a new German record for an Under-19’s game! That’s Dortmund, folks! #bvbfcb 0-0 https://t.co/5xeRjsEohM

The official number was 33,450, which set a new record for a German U19s game. Devout Dortmund fans waited in line by the thousands and got their tickets to support the future of the club.
The game wasn’t too eventful, but the penalty shootout certainly was! In a back-and-forth affair, BVB eventually won on penalties 8-7!
For the U19s, it was their second title in a row. Last year they beat Hoffenheim in the final. Beating Bayern this year must have felt even better. Hopefully the senior team can follow their lead sometime soon!
Highlights should be available soon, but for now check out the final penalty that won it for Dortmund.
