  • Last matchday all across Europe

Sadly the past weekend marked the last matchday in most European leagues so let's take a look at the results.

Real Madrid win the La Liga title for the first time in five years! It was a race until the end in Spain but CR7 & Co. were able to defend their three-point lead with a 2-0 win over Malaga to clinch the title victory.

Juventus crowned Serie A champions for the sixth time in a row. There is still one match to be played in Italy but the race for the Scudetto is over, Juve won 3-0 against Crotone to secure the title.

Chelsea already won the Premier League title a week ago but there was still a battle for the Champions League places in England. Manchester City and Liverpool followed Chelsea and Tottenham into the most prestigious club competition in the world while Arsenal have missed out. The Gunners will now have to play in the Europa League which means that Bayern Munich will have to finish third in their group if they want to continue their tradition of the yearly Arsenal-beatdown.

Welcome back to the Bundesliga VfB Stuttgart and Hannover 96. Both clubs reached their goal of immediately coming back to the Bundesliga just one year after their relegation. They will replace Darmstadt and Ingolstadt who got relegated this year. Wolfsburg will have to play Eintracht Braunschweig in the relegation-playoff to determine who will play in the Bundesliga next season.

  • Der Klassiker U19

Borussia Dortmund's U19 team will take on Bayern Munich in the final for the German championship today. The match will be played in the Signal-Iduna-Park which means the black and yellows will have home field advantage in the final. Let's hope they can defend their title today.

Daily Buzz: Happy to see Stuttgart and Hannover back?
