- Ginter nominated for Confed Cup
As the current World Cup champions Germany will participate in the Confederations Cup in Russia this summer. The Cup that will be played between 17 June and 2 July is usually used as a preparation for the host of the next WC. German coach Joachim Löw has decided to give his regulars a break this offseason to rest them for next year and nominated a team with mostly young players that will get a chance to present themselves on the international stage.
After Marco Reus declined an invitation from Löw to rest and prepare for next season, Matthias Ginter is the only BVB player (well for now) that will play for Germany this summer.
He may be joined by Raphael Guerreiro who will likely participate for Portugal, the current European champions.

- Dahoud going to the U21 Euros
There's not only the Confed Cup but also the U21 European Championships and Mahmoud Dahoud is nominated. The future BVB-midfielder is the only black and yellow to play for the German team.

- BVB targeting Driussi and Philipp
Is Borussia Dortmund eyeing Sebastian Driussi as a possible Auba-replacement? The 21-year-old striker from Argentinian club River Plate has scored 16 goals in 26 games this season and is a very intriguing young talent. Driussi has been linked to a litany of European teams and a move in the summer seems increasingly likely mostly because the striker has a release clause in his contract that would allow him to leave for 15€ million.
Meanwhile kicker report that the black and yellows are also keeping an eye on Maximilian Philipp from SC Freiburg. The 23-year-old striker has been linked with a move to RB Leipzig this summer and now it seems that BVB have joined the race for the young German.
While both players are certainly talented it remains to be seen how exactly Zorc & Co. decide to replace Aubameyang (if they actually have to replace him). Driussi would be an interesting player, especially with his release clause but it would be a risky move to replace a proven striker with an (mostly) unproven player.
