- BVB drop to 4th
Borussia Dortmund has dropped to fourth in the table after Saturday's draw against 1.FC Köln and Hoffenheim's win on Sunday against Eintracht Frankfurt. A last-minute goal from Benjamin Hübner gave Hoffenheim the win which makes next week's match between Dortmund and Hoffenheim all that more important. Now the black and yellows will have to win at home to get back to third and directly into the Champions League group stage while the fourth placed team will have to win a qualifying round first.
- Pep wants Aubameyang
Just your usual daily Aubameyang-rumor.
Nigerian outlet Vanguard reports that Manchester City are prepared to offer young striker Kelechi Iheanacho to Dortmund in addition to a transfer fee in exchange for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
While everyone should take every Auba-rumor with a huge grain of salt in the coming weeks, this would be an interesting deal depending on the additional fee. Iheneacho is a very talented striker that can grow into a world-class player if he gets enough playing time which is not really the case with Manchester City right now. The 20-year-old did play in 27 games across all competitions (7 goals, 3 assists), however he came off the bench in most of those games playing only 32 minutes on average in those games.
Daily Buzz: Would someone like Iheneacho be enough to replace Aubameyang?
