  • BVB fine Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Aubameyangs infamous masked goal-celebration in the Revierderby has now had its consequences. Sporting director Michael Zorc confirmed to kicker that Borussia Dortmund has fined the Gabon international, although he did not disclose the amount that PEA had to pay.

The celebration was part of a marketing deal with Nike which has violated Dortmund's deal with Puma which is the official BVB sponsor. Zorc said that Aubameyang did not know that the celebration would violate any existing BVB deals but they still had to punish him for it.

  • BVB refuse to buy Orel Mangala?

Orel Mangala is playing for BVB U19 this season after he arrived last summer on loan from Belgian club RSC Anderlecht. As part of the deal Borussia Dortmund secured a clause that would allow them to buy the 19-year-old for 2€ million. However the black and yellows have reportedly decided to relinquish their right to buy the young central midfielder. Apparently the talented young player has not shown enough in his 22 games (4 goals, 4 assists) for the youth team to warrant a further collaboration.

  • Choupo-Moting to Dortmund?

Here's a weird one. A rumor about Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting joining Borussia Dortmund surfaced yesterday. According to a person who was one of the first to break the news about the Dahoud and Sahin transfers is claiming that Choupo-Moting will join Dortmund this summer. The 28-year-old has an expiring contract and woul be available for free.

This would be an extremely weird move for both sides. Choupo-Moting can play as a winger or a striker and Dortmund have an abundance of wingers that are arguably all better than him and a solid situation at striker with Aubameyang, Schürrle and Isak. There are rumors about Auba possibly leaving but Choupo-Moting does not have the quality to be his replacement. Take this with a HUGE grain of salt.

Daily Buzz: I doubt this is happening but what do you all think about the Choupo-Moting rumor? Is Schürrle leaving already? Is he the Ramos-replacement?
