- Nuri might play again this season
In Saturday's away win at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Nuri Sahin had to be subbed off early because of an injury. It looked pretty ugly and the BVB-officials feared that it would mark the end to the 28-year-old's season, however there seems to be hope that Sahin might play again this season. On Monday Dortmund confirmed that the Turkish international suffered a partial tear of the lateral collateral ligament. The average time for recovery is around 17 days for an injury like this, nevertheless it would probably be wise not to rush him back considering his injury history and the fact that the black and yellows still have Weigl, Castro and Merino.

- DFB Cup news
Today Borussia Mönchengladbach will take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the first semifinal of the DFB Cup. The Fohlenelf should be considered the slight favorite for this tie because they have home-field advantage.
As for Dortmund's game in Munich, Sokratis' is still questionable for Dortmund while Mats Hummels and David Alaba had to sit out team practice on Monday, they are also doubtful for Wednesday's game.
