  • Some players are back in training

Marco Reus fully participated in Sunday's team practice which is encouraging sign that he'll be ready for the challenges that lie ahead. It's unrealistic to bet on him being in the starting line-up tomorrow against AS Monaco but it's possible that he will be on the bench at least. If not then we will probably have to wait until the weekend against Eintracht Frankfurt to see him back on the pitch.

Meanwhile Shinji Kagawa and Julian Weigl completed some individual training sessions. Hopefully they will be ready in time to play against Monaco, Der Klassiker clearly showed that this team needs both of them to compete at the highest level.

  • Watzke confident that Auba will stay

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke stated on the TV-show Doppelpass on Sport1 that he is optimistic that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will stay with the black and yellows beyond this summer. If Barcelona or Real Madrid would come asking then they would have to talk it over with the Gabon international but since no club has made any inquiries so far it looks like Dortmund will keep their star striker.

Another topic was Thomas Tuchel and his possible extension, Watzke reiterated that they will wait until the summer until any negotiations will take place.

Daily Buzz: I guess we'll line-up in the 3-4-2-1 once again in the Champions League. Dembélé hasn't been great since the international break so is it time to start Pulisic or Mor against Monaco? Assuming one spot will go to Kagawa if he's healthy.
