It has finally happened, Christian Pulisic scored his first Champions League goal - and what an important goal it was. Pulisic had been playing great thus far, completing 86% of all his passes. He assisted for the first goal, which saw Aubameyang net the goal in the forth minute of the game. After tying with the opponents at 1 -- 1 on aggregate, this goal could not have come at a more important time. As the score currently stands, Dortmund is on track to continue on in the Champions League.
The goal was a beauty. Piszczek passes the ball from the right hand side of the pitch, which Pulisic sees and starts running. Pulisic, beautifully lifts the ball over the Benfica keeper, Ederson.
Look at it for yourself:

His goal, though not a surprise to use, left some commentators in the stadium baffled, as one reporter was caught googling the young lad:

This could possibly be the young americans most important start. Let’s see how this game ends.
