  • Alexandre Lacazette as Aubameyang-replacement?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has indicated on several occasions that he might leave this summer, especially if Real Madrid makes an offer for the striker. In case he does leave Zorc would have to look for a replacement for him. Now French outlet Téléfoot has mentioned Borussia Dortmund as a possible destination for Alexandre Lacazette. The striker from Olympique Lyon has hinted at a transfer in the summer and even Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has said that they will listen to offers in the summer. According to reports an offer of 60€ million would be enough to secure the services of the 25-year-old.

If Auba leaves, Lacazette would be an exciting replacement but we'll have to see what happens during the summer. We are on the brink of an interesting transfer period when it comes to the striker position, there are rumors about Auba, Agüero, Griezmann, Mbappé, etc. swirling around.

  • Roger Schmidt sacked

Bayer Leverkusen have terminated the contract with coach Roger Schmidt after the Werkself lost 2-6 to Dortmund. Leverkusen started the season with high expectations and several pundits had them as a possible title-contender but instead the team is in 10th place and struggling to get some consistency. They hope that a new coach might turn this season around and at least finish in the top-6 which would allow them to qualify for the Europa League.
