During yesterday's game against Bayer Leverkusen Marco Reus had to be subbed off because of an injury. He was able to walk off the pitch himself so everybody was hopeful that it wouldn't be a long break for the Dortmunder Jung. Now we have the sad confirmation that he'll miss four weeks because of torn fibers in his thigh.

He will not only miss next weeks crucial Champions League-game against Benfica, but he's also doubtful for the games against Gelsenkirchen and Bayern Munich in early April. It's a sad new chapter in Reus's lengthy injury history. He already missed 17 games at the beginning of the season with an inflammation of the pubic bone joint.
Thomas Tuchel will have to decide how to replace Reus but he'll have several good options at his disposal. Young American Christian Pulisic seems to be next in line on the depth chart leaving the likes of André Schürrle and Emre Mor behind him. Let's hope he's up to the task.
