The draw has come and gone, and now Borussia Dortmund know their opponents for the Quarterfinals.
BVB have been drawn against Monaco, who are currently at the top of Ligue 1. Leonardo Jardim’s squad advanced on away goals against Manchester City in the last round.

This has been a very successful season for Monaco, but it’s still among the better draws BVB could have gotten. If Dortmund can advance, only two of Juventus, Barcelona, Bayern, and Madrid will be in the semifinals. And the path could still be open for a draw with Leicester, if they can get past Atletico.
But Jardim’s squad really can not be taken lightly. It will take quite the defensive effort from BVB to stifle their attack. They will however be without Tiemoue Bakyoko for the first leg, as he is suspended on yellows.
The two legs of this Quarterfinal match-up will take place on April 11th and April 19th. The first leg will be at the Westfalenstadion, while the return leg will be at the Stade Louis II in Monaco.
