  • Kevin Großkreutz back in black and yellow?

If you haven't heard Kevin Großkreutz is currently unemployed after being fired from second division side VfB Stuttgart. Why do you ask? Well he ended up in the hospital after having a fight while he was partying....beyond his curfew (clubs usually impose curfews on their players before games)....he was partying with minors....

Oh Kevin.

Every Dortmund fan will love Großkreutz forever because he's simply one of us, a fan that gets to live his dream of being a professional football player but there is no doubt that he has made some boneheaded decisions in the past.

Now some outlets have reported that Großkreutz wants to come back to Dortmund, at least until he has found another club. He apparently wants to participate in team practices, he would not sign a contract with Dortmund and not be allowed to play games. Dortmund has released an official statement on this topic: "If he asks us, the answer will absolutely be yes. He is a BVB-player with a lot of merits and he will always be a part of the BVB-family"

So welcome back Kevin Großkreutz?

  • Idiots being idiots

There was some cause for alarm in the BVB-offices on Wednesday. Dortmund received an envelope with white powder in it. The offices had to be evacuated and 8 Dortmund employees had to be examined only to get the confirmation later on that it was sugar.

  • Champions League results

Atletico 0-0 Bayer Leverkusen

Monaco 3-1 Manchester City

Leverkusen had to overcome a 4-2 deficit and they actually put up a good fight but they were not able to convert their chances. Monaco on the other hand was able to turn things around at home, they were the better team and deserved to go through to the next round.

Daily Buzz: Now that we know who the 8 quarterfinalists are, who do you want in the next round?

Personally I would like to play either Leicester, Monaco or Barcelona. Yep, you read that right, I want Barca. Bayern and Real are kinda boring simply because we have played them so often and we still have two games against Bayern coming up. I want to avoid Juventus and Atletico because both are nightmare match-ups for Dortmund, they have good defenses and like to play counter-attacking systems.

Leicester is the worst team left in the competition and probably the easiest draw. Monaco are young, talented and exciting, in other words they are the French equivalent of Dortmund, it would be an interesting match-up. And Barca, well Barca is just special and the last time both teams played each other was in 1997! It's about damn time.
