Well I think we can all agree that the weekend was pretty crappy but hey at least Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang kept his lead in the goalgetter competition ahead of Robert Lewandowski. Although the lead shrank to just one goal because Lewa scored a brace against Frankfurt while Auba just scored once against Berlin.
- Watzke thinks Auba will stay
Talking to Fussball Bild, BVB CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said that he thinks there is a good chance that the Gabon international will stay in Dortmund this summer. He acknowledged that it will be difficult but he believes that PEA appreciates what he has in Dortmund and that he plays for a team that has a lot of potential.
It will be very difficult to keep Aubameyang around but Dortmund will be in control considering that he still has a contract until 2020. Whoever wants to pry him away from the black and yellows will have to pay a premium price for the striker.
Daily Buzz: Anthony Modeste is up there in third place just behind Auba and Lewy which begs the question, is he the surprise of the season so far? Which player has impressed you this season?
