How are our youth teams doing?

Here's a quick review of how our youth teams have been doing in the Rückrunde.


Borussia Dortmund II

BVB II started the Rückrunde at third place with nine wins and eight draws. We've kept our unbeaten streak going with wins against Köln II and Wattenscheid.

A-Junioren Bundesliga West

The boys manage to hang on to the second place spot despite losing to the other Borussia at home (only their second loss this season!).

UEFA Youth League

We managed to defeat Real Madrid U19 in the last match of the UEFA Youth League group stage (1:3, with goals from Baxmann, Amenyido and Kopacz), and made it to the play-offs (UYL group stage runners up face off against the teams who qualified through the Domestic Champions path). We play against the Israeli team Maccabi Haifa tomorrow (!).

Borussia Dortmund U17

We began the Rückrunde at third place and 6 points behind league leaders Sch*lke. Two wins and a draw have moved us to second place, but still 6 points behind league leaders Sch*lke. We'll catch up soon. :)
