- BVB-"fans" attack RB Leipzig fans
A great performance and important win have been tarnished by the actions of a group of "fans" before the game on Saturday. According to reports RB Leipzig-fans got attacked on their way to the Signal-Iduna Park. Some of the victims of the vicious assaults were women and children, several people got hospitalized. Thankfully all of the victims were able to go back home on Sunday.
It's extremely sad to see that a group of idiots ruined an otherwise great day. Hans-Joachim Watzke and Dr. Reinhard Rauball condemned the incidents and vowed to find and punish the aggressors.
It's ok to protest against RB Leipzig but we should expect more from a fanbase that has shown creativity in that regard, rather than to stoop to such an inexcusable level. It is disappointing to see something like this happen and see our club being associated with one of the worst assaults in one of the most peaceful sports-leagues in the world.
