  • Mourinho wants Pulisic?

The Manchester Evening News is reporting that Manchester United are interested in Christian Pulisic.

Manchester United are monitoring Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic, according to reports.

Jose Mourinho is in the market for a winger and recently United have been linked with Chelsea's Willian and Bordeaux winger Malcolm.

And Pulisic is the latest name to be added to the list.

Of course a player like Pulisic will attract interest from elsewhere, but I don’t think there is any real threat of him leaving in January. United are linked to hundreds of players, so we’ll chalk this one up as a shaky rumor for now.

  • Should Germany stick with the winter break?

This time of the year always seems to produce the same question from the footballing world: Should the top leagues in Europe ditch winter breaks in favor of an England-style hectic holiday season?

The Bundesliga won’t be in action again until January 14, which means the players will get a much-needed rest. The fans, however, are rarely in the mood for such a break. A holiday round of fixtures could be something to consider in the future. There’s just something about those games that feels special.

Would you like to see the Bundesliga ditch its winter break to play fixtures around Christmas and New Years?
