Congratulations to Christian Pulisic fro being named male US soccer player of the year. To be quite honest this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone simply because Pulisic has clearly been the best US player this year. However it seems that he might get some competition (and help ehen it comes to the USMNT) with Weston McKinnie playing a solid season for Schalke and Josh Sargent joining Werder Bremen soon.
Here a message from the “American Messi” himself:
Very humbled to win @ussoccer_mnt Player of the Year. Thank You! pic.twitter.com/j5yx4XjJFj

Dortmund has been linked to several youn centerbacks recently such as Matthijs de Ligt (Ajax Amsterdam) and Manuel Akanji (FC Basel). Now another name joins the rumor mill: Yerry Mina.
The 23-year-old centerback from Palmeiras Sao Paulo has been heavily linked with Barcelona in recent months but a transfer fell through in the summer and it’s still unsure if he’ll end up in the Primera Division.
Now his brother and agent, Jair Mina, has revealed that he talked to Dortmund about a potential move to the black and yellows. According to Spox the agent and BVB held talks about a potential move and he called Dortmund an “interesting option”, saying “They haven’t made an official offer just yet, but he (Yerry Mina) would have absolutely no problem joining them.”
