It’s no secret that Christian Pulisic is already the best player on the United States Men’s National Team. He’s still a teenager, but he’s already had a massive impact on the USMNT.
Pulisic was recognized today by US Soccer as the Male Player of the Year. The 19-year-old is the youngest to ever win the award.

The Hershey, PA native deservedly got more votes than fellow candidates Jozy Altidore, Michael Bradley, Clint Dempsey, and Jordan Morris.
This honor is a nice achievement for Pulisic, but what he really wanted was to lead the United States to the 2018 World Cup. America won’t be playing in Russia next summer, and that’s a damn shame.
Pulisic had six goals and four assists this season for the US this year. He came close to single-handedly dragging them to the tournament.
It wasn’t to be, but this kid’s future is still incredibly bright for both the USA and for Borussia Dortmund.
