- Auba 3rd in “African footballer of the year” vote
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finished third for the annual “African Footballer of the year” award. The Gabon international won the award back in 2015 and finished in third place behind two Liverpool players this time around, Sadio Mané and eventual winner Mohamed Salah.
für @Aubameyang7! Leider hat's diesmal nicht ganz gereicht für den Titel des BBC African Footballer of the Year. Glückwunsch an @22mosalah! https://t.co/BbYKE1Ntta

- Olivier Giroud to BVB?
French outlet le10sport claim Olivier Giroud would be Dortmund’s number one target if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would depart during the winter break. PEA has once again been linked with several clubs and Giroud could be a decent replacement in case Auba leaves. Interestingly enough Giroud (31) claimed during a recent interview that he was close to joining the black and yellows this past summer but it didn’t happen because Aubameyang stayed in Dortmund.
Daily Buzz: Would Giroud be a good replacement for Auba?
