One Peter is in and one Peter is out. With Peter Bosz being sacked today Dortmund have announced Peter Stoger as BVB’s interim head manager. Rumors are already swirling about who BVB will bring on as a full time replacement for next year. While Stoger seems like a good choice, reports say that BVB may go for a much flashier manager next season instead of giving Stoger the chance to stay on.

SZ report that Hoffenheim Manager Julian Nagelsmann is set to take over as BVB manager starting in the 2018-2019 season. Nagelsmann has turned Hoffenheim from a lower middling team to a top 4 contender in just a few years. Also he is notable for being one of the youngest managers in Europe at only 30 years of age. If true Naglesmann is going to do fine at BVB. My only reservations are that if the team knows their manager is guaranteed not to stay, Stoger may have trouble getting them to commit to how he wants to play. We will see how it goes!
