  • BVB win friendly against Bochum

Borussia Dortmund have won 4-2 against 2.Bundesliga side VfL Bochum in a friendly that they kept a secret. Neither club announced the game beforehand so it was a bit of a surprise that the game took place. In addition it was not a regular game as they played three halves of 30 minutes. André Schürrle (2), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Maximilian Philipp scored the goals for BVB.

There are still a few spots available for the World Cup in Russia next year and today we’ll get the first two games. Northern Ireland will take on Switzerland with Roman Bürki and Croatia will host Greece with Sokratis probably in the starting eleven. Good luck to both BVB-players and hopefully we’ll get to see them in Russia next summer.

Dan-Axel Zagadou, who is the captain of France’s U19 team, played yesterday against Andorra and scored the last goal in a decisive 7-0 victory. Meanwhile Jadon Sancho played his first game for England’s U19 against Icelnad. England won 6-0 and Sancho contributed three assists to the game.
