The Daily Bee (November 7th, 2017): A legend says goodbye

  • Tactical breakdown of BVB-FCB

I can understand if you don’t want to hear anything about the game against Bayern anymore but in case you are interested in a tactical breakdown of the game then this article from bundesligafanatic.com might just be for you.

  • Sven Bender injured again

Unfortunately Sven “Iron Manni” Bender has suffered yet another injury in his career as Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed in a statement. The midfielder has suffered a double rib fracture in the game against Augsburg last weekend. Bender had bad luck throughout his years at Dortmund and it seems that it has followed him to his new home.

  • A legend leaves the game

It’s always sad to see a legend leave the game but as we all know nobody can beat father time and so it is time for Andrea Pirlo to say goodbye to the beautiful game.

At the ripe age of 38, Pirlo can look back at a storied career that has spanned over 20 years and yielded an impressive collection of titles including 1x World Cup, 2x Champions League, 6x Serie A championhips and 2x Italian Cup titles among others.

Personally Andrea Pirlo has been of my favorite players of the last two decades and one that always went underappreciated in my opinion.

Goodbye Andrea Pirlo!
