According to various reports from German outlets, Peter Bosz will stay in charge at least until next week when Dortmund will travel to Leverkusen.
BILD, kicker, Ruhr Nachrichten and Sport1 have various reports saying that Hans-Joachim Watzke and Michael Zorc decided to give Peter Bosz another week to turn things around. The coach who was appointed this summer had a great start in charge of the black and yellows with six wins and one draw in his first seven games but he hasn’t won a Bundesliga game in months. Dortmund has slipped from first to fifth place in the table and have embarrassed themselves in the Champions League. The only victory in recent weeks came in the DFB Cup against FC Magdeburg, a third tier side.
Why he is allowed to stay in charge after one of the biggest collapses in BVB-history remains a mystery and will be a controversial decision in the weeks to come.
What do you think about this decision? Let us know in the comments.
UPDATE: Hans-Joachim Watzke has confirmed during today’s members meeting that Peter Bosz will stay on as the head coach of Borussia Dortmund.
