Official: Sven Mislintat goes to Arsenal

Well we saw this news coming and now it is official. Dortmund’s Chief scout Sven Mislintat has left the club to join Arsenal in the EPL. Sven has been a pivotal front office staffer for BVB uncovering some of our most important talents. The front office valued him so highly that in a fight between him and Tuchel they chose him, this being one of the main reasons Tuchel was sacked. With a rough two months for BVB the news is only getting worse. With a potential change in manager and sporting director also coming this year Dortmund is looking at a total rebuild.

With Sven leaving, this iteration of BVBs front office that has guided us from the Klopp years onward seems to be coming to a close. Hopefully the ship will be set right soon and we can luck out on some new players and staff. If not, we are looking at a post 2003 BVB situation or worse.
