  • Zagadou to miss Der Klassiker

Dan-Axel Zagadou had memorable game against Hannover last weekend. He scored his first Bundesliga goal and later proceeded to commit a foul that got him sent off and was essentially the nail in the coffin of BVB’s hopes of getting a result in Hannover.

The DFB has now announced that Zagadou will be suspended for one Bundesliga game, the game on Saturday against Bayern Munich.

  • Champions League earnings

The UEFA has released a list of the Champions League earnings.

BVB is in 11th place with 52.8€ million, the leader was finalist Juventus with 110.4€ million. Eventual winners Real Madrid came in in third place behind Leicester who only reached the quarterfinals which once again proves the advantage of the English TV-deals. Leicester and BVB were both eliminated in the same round but Dortmund only got 19.7€ million compared to Leicester’s 49.1€ million.
