Raphaël Guerreiro came on as a substitute in yesterday’s 5-0 win over FC Magdeburg to complete his return from injury. Guerreiro had been missing since he picked up a foot injury during Portugal’s World Cup Qualifying campaign this summer.
He played less than 30 minutes yesterday, but this video from Dortmund training is proof that he hasn’t lost any of his technical ability during his time off.

I had to watch the clip a few times before I could fully appreciate what he’s doing. Sure, it’s in training, but using that technique and putting the ball in the top corner is still incredible.
Just look at the reactions from everyone else on the training pitch. No one can believe what Raph has just done!
Another takeaway from this is that BVB training looks like a lot of fun...I guess unless you’re a goalkeeper.
Now we just need Guerreiro to pull off one of these in a Bundesliga match!
