A nice little finish from Nuri.

Goals from Nuri Şahin are kind of a collectors item. It’s important to savor them, but we’ve been a little spoiled this year.

Nuri scored again today, meaning he now has 2 goals in 7 Bundesliga starts.

Much of the credit for the goal should go to Marc Bartra. He showed a desire to attack, and his shot turned out to be a perfect pass. Nuri did the rest from a great position.

Şahin is one of the most likable players on the team, but he definitely needed this. The 29-year-old Turk was poor in last weekend’s defeat to Leipzig.

Roman Burki also had a tough week on the pitch, but Nuri made sure to show him support. After the goal he ran all the way back to celebrate with the Swiss keeper.

Regardless of what you think of Burki’s recent performance, something like this is really nice to see. BVB have an incredibly tight squad.
