Reports are that Łukasz Piszczek has sustained ligament damage in his knee, and it is uncertain how long he will be out.
Piszczek has been a mainstay in Peter Bosz’s squad so far this season, and it is still to be seen just how much Dortmund will miss their Polish fullback. Dortmund’s defense has been stout so far in the Bundesliga, and their impressive defensive record will be put to the test against Leipzig this Saturday.
Look for Jeremy Toljan to replace Piszczek at right back and Dan-Axel Zagadou to slot into the left back role.
