12 days. That’s how much longer we have to wait to see Dortmund back in competitive action.

The Bundesliga’s winter break will finally be over, and Dortmund will restart their campaign with a trip to Werder Bremen. With a lot of work to do still in the table, Thomas Tuchel and company will need to get the second half of the season off to a fast start.

Thankfully it looks like one of BVB’s most important players will be back and healthy for that game.

According to the following tweet, Raphaël Guerreiro is back training with the rest of the Dortmund team.

You can see Guerreiro in the video taking part in drills with the rest of the team. The Portuguese international hasn’t played for BVB since the Hamburg game on November 5th. Shortly after that he picked up a muscle injury while on international duty.

Raph has been training to build-up his fitness, but is only now joining the rest of the team. This should mean that he’s nearly back to 100%, and can train without restrictions.

This is obviously great news, as Guerreiro has been quite good since signing from Lorient in the summer.

Stay strong everyone, there will be football again before you know it!
