- A few players are still missing

The boys are back in training but unfortunately a few of them are still missing. Neven Subotic, Sokratis, Raphael Guerreiro, Sebastian Rode and Nuri Sahin didn't participate in the team practice but completed individual sessions. Mario Götze was completely absent because he has the flu.
- Fedor Smolov as Ramos-replacement?
The 26-year old striker from FK Krasnodar has been linked to BVB for a few weeks now and now his agent has spoken out about Dortmund's interest, saying "Dortmund is following Fedor Smolov's situation very closely" before adding "Although winter-transfers are usually difficult".
Smolov himself said in December "There's a team that I don't want to reveal. For that team I would leave Krasnodar this winter." You could assume that Borussia Dortmund are that team. Smolov would be a good replacement for Ramos, he is a solid striker that has some international experience and the transfer fee would be around the same amount that we'd get for Ramos.
Daily Buzz: We are without Auba for a few games so would it be smart to sell our only other striker on the roster and replace him with someone who doesn't know the team?
