- A convincing win against Paderborn
Dortmund put on a solid performance on offense in a 6-1 win in the final friendly before the season continues on Saturday. You can read all about the positives and negatives right here.
The biggest negative was Sven Benders injury. "Manni" had to leave the game early on after a vicious tackle. Bender was immediately brought to the hospital for further examinations but it doesn't look good for him with Tuchel being worried about him.
Tuchel on Bender's injury: "We're waiting for a diagnosis, but it doesn't look good. His ankle immediately swell after he rolled it." #bvb

A lot of BVB-fans put their hope on Bender to stabilize a shaky defense but after this injury and with Sokratis already out Tuchel will have to rely on Bartra and Ginter at the start of the Rückrunde which doesn't sound very promising.
- Adrian Ramos on his way out
It's all but confirmed that Ramos will leave Borussia Dortmund with BVB-official Sascha Fligge confirming that the club have "agreed to terms" for a deal that'll bring BVB 12€ million. However there is still some confusion about when he'll actually leave. Initial reports indicated that he'll be sold to Chinese club Chongqing Lifan but loaned out to FC Granada in Sapin until the summer others are reporting that he'll stay in Dortmund until the summer.
With Aubameyang gone for a few more weeks it would be smart to hold on to Ramos for now. On the other hand André Schürrle has looked like a good short-time replacement in recent weeks. There is also the possibility of adding another striker before the transfer window closes with rumors about Fedor Smolov (FK Krasnodar) and Kylian Mbappé (AS Monaco) immediately surfacing after the Ramos news.
Daily Bee: Ramos gone and Bender possibly out for an extended period of time, that's very bad news. What do we need more right now a new CB or a new striker?
