- Gabon draw Guinea-Bissau to open Africa Cup of Nations
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had to endure a first disappointment during this years AFCON. The Panthers, a nickname for Gabon, who are the hosts of the tournament went in front after PEA scored shortly after halftime but unfortunately Guinea-Bissau were able to escape with a point after a last-minute equalizer.
If the hosts want to progress into the next round they'll have to get results against Burkina Faso and Cameroon their other two opponents in Group A.
- Dortmund scouting Niklas Stark?
It is no secret that BVB need help at center-back. Dortmund's backline and the CB position in particular have been responsible for some shaky performances in the Hinrunde. While it is unlikely that Zorc will bring in new players in this transfer window it is believed that Ömer Toprak will join the black and yellows in the summer to reinforce the defense.
Another option might be Niklas Stark from Hertha BSC Berlin. BILD report that Dortmund scouts were scouting him during the winter break and he might be an option for the future. The 21-year-old has been steadily improving since joining Berlin from Nürnberg in 2013. Together with young American John Anthony Brooks he forms one of the better CB-pairings in the Bundesliga. His contract runs through 2019.

The Spaniard celebrated his 26th birthday yesterday. We wish him all the best and hopefully a better second half of the season.
Daily Buzz: Would you prefer Niklas Stark over Ömer Toprak or do we need them both?
